Site preparation works and construction of a model Aldi store with in-situ concrete foundations, a steel frame with facing brick infill walls and aluminium composite roof and wall cladding. 278 works involved construction of a mini-roundabout at the site entrance and extensive road and footway improvements including traffic management. Groundworks comprised foul and surface water drainage, including attenuation, in-situ concrete foundations and carpark. Overall, the works packages undertaken by Story were completed 2 weeks earlier than the original completion date.
