The fast track project was delivered to a 16-week build programme. The steel framed building provided a large showroom space for the sale of new and used cars, together with new office facilities. To the rear of the building a new valet bay and washroom were created. Works comprised part new build, including steel structure, internal dividing walls and intermediate floors, and part refurbishment of redundant garage buildings into a separate body shop and workshop.

Story Construction carried out construction of the new David Hayton Peugeot Garage, Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, which is one of the largest Peugeot show rooms in the UK, offering customers a state-of-the-art 30-car showroom. The new showrooms were designed to a very high specification which involved Story Construction working closely with the design team and David Hayton to complete this first class build project.
