Calder Foods alteration and extension, Carlisle

To provide a new extension and alterations to an existing food processing factory for Calder Foods Ltd.

The works involve groundworks, drainage, erection of new steel framed extension with pre-cast concrete mezzanine floor and concrete ground floors. Internally is a full fit out package to food industry standards. Including electrical, mechanical and refrigeration works, food safe panelled rooms with new freezer and chill areas, resin floor coverings and creation of new loading and dispatch bays with specialized fast action doors.

Story Construction are capable of, and familiar with, fulfilling the stringent hygiene and health and safety standards associated with working at facilities which produce and process food products. Food Safety Passport training is given to all employees working on such projects.
