UCB Research and Development building, Wigton

Construction of a high specification Research & Development Building, complete with associated external works.

Story Construction Ltd were employed as sub-contractors to UCB Films Plc, responsible for the following packages:

• substructure
• drainage
• brickwork and blockwork
• reinforced concrete retaining wall/waterproofing
• suspended metal decking/reinforced upper floor/roof slabs
• chipboard flooring to upper floor
• plastering/Gyproc metal partitions
• first fix joinery
• external works comprising: kerbing, block paving, tarmac, building work in connection with external services
