New building for Health and Fitness Club.
Construction of £17.2m leisure, sport and entertainment complex, with three swimming pool areas including leisure water, an 80 station fitness suite, health suite with sauna, steam room and spa pool, a 6 court sports hall, conference and meeting facilities, café and bar.
Unity Skatepark is located on unused Council land at Kingholm Quay Playing Fields adjacent to the River Nith to the south of Dumfries and is an ideal place for Skate, BMX, Urban MTB, Inline Skate, and anyone who wishes to use a top class concrete public skatepark.
The works comprised a steel framed structure on a raft foundation with an in-situ mezzanine floor, slate roofing, facing brick walls, curtain walling and alterations and extensions to existing electrical and mechanical services.
