Crystal Rigg Sub-station, Dunbar

The civil engineering and building works included the construction of all temporary and permanent works to accommodate the new installations at the substation.

The civils works comprised the following items:

• excavation works
• roadworks
• foundation works
• cast in-situ and pre-cast concrete work
• strain structure erection of the control building and fit out
• drainage systems for surface water, foul and oily water
• water supply
• security fencing
• miscellaneous site reinstatement on completion
