Construction of in situ reinforced concrete Quad Booster Bund adjacent to a live substation working in the vicinity of overhead lines; a labour and plant sub contract package for Murphy. The works included all rebar fixing, formwork and concreting operations in connection with the new Quad Booster Bund - comprising slab & screed, walls & suspended deck and associated base, all to exacting tolerances.
Works were completed almost 3 weeks ahead of programme with excellent feedback received from both Murphy and the National Grid on the quality, safety and speed of the works, and particularly, how impressed they were with the site teams' attitude.
This project, again working with within the Utilities industry, demonstrates our continued successful track record in delivering projects of this nature to a high quality and ahead of schedule.
