Infrastructure Works, Cargenbridge

Situated at the former (ICI) Alfred Nobel Explosive Works Site, Dungans, Cargenbridge, Dumfries, the contract involved remediation of the site and construction of an access road, to adoptable standards, for a commercial development inclusive of all footways and filter drains, a 1275m3 SUDS pond, a cycle path, an Emergency Vehicle Access to the future Phase II development and access stubs to the proposed Phase I1 development.

Phase I of Cargenbridge Industrial Park incorporates 12 acres of developed land which has been serviced and divided into seven plots ranging from one acre to two acres. Plots in the first phase are targeted towards light industrial/office use and companies able to demonstrate strong and sustainable growth plans, delivering high economic impact.
